How the calculation works
Gross yield = annual rent ÷ total acquisition cost. Net yield = (annual rent − expenses − taxes) ÷ total cost. Long-term assumes 12 months of rent. Short-term multiplies the nightly rate by 365 then by the occupancy rate.
